Spring Vegetable Gardening (Zoom link provided)

February 27 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

FREE

As the weather warms, it’s the perfect time to plant warm-season crops like tomatoes, beans, squash and cucumbers, which thrive in the warmer temperatures of late spring and summer. Learn about soils, pH, nutrients, garden amendments, and the right seeds and transplants to select for summer! Lisa Klein will walk you through prepping your garden (including raised beds and containers) for those wonderful warm months. By planning your garden layout and choosing a variety of vegetables, you can ensure a continuous harvest throughout the season. Whether you are a beginning gardener or a transplant from somewhere else, get the foundation you need to be a successful gardener in Georgia. This webinar provides 1 hour of continuing education credit toward the 10 hours that MGEVs are required to complete each year.
